You asked for Necros candles.
We did not make black gothic decor.
We made ritual objects for the living and the dead.
 
Created in collaboration with Kykymora Candles, each candle is handmade from real wax and shaped as a cone to symbolize Dausų kalnelis - the mythic hill where Vėlės, the spirits of the dead, are believed to dwell.
 
They are not black.
 
Not because we suddenly became normal. Please do not insult us.
They are not black because Vėlės do not feel black to us. They belong to pale memory, ash, mist, smoke, white silence, grey breath, the blue of the night sky, and the shape of something standing near the doorway when no one is supposed to be there.
 
The marbled surface was created by hand to resemble smoke and fog. The Vėlių Cross was applied using candle-safe water-based decoupage materials. A touch of wormwood links the candle to ancestors, memory, and subtle-world work. The black thread symbolizes the line connecting the world of the living and the world of the dead.
 
Each candle is handmade from beginning to end, including the molds. Because of this, every piece carries small irregularities, marks, and traces of the hand that made it.
 
Good.
If you wanted sterile perfection, there are corporate beige candles somewhere screaming for attention. This is not that.
We see these traces as part of the object’s ritual character, not defects — proof that the candle crossed through someone’s hands before crossing into yours.
 
For altars, mourning spaces, perfume ceremonies, reading rituals, ancestor work, and rooms that need to remember what came before them.
