Then the warmth awakens. Ambergris, scorched vanilla, and dry woods rise slowly through the cold, soft as fading fire, bright as ashes still holding heat. It feels beautiful in the way ruins are beautiful, not because they survived untouched, but because something of them refused to disappear.
 
Beneath it all, dark resins and mineral musk begin to pulse, like a universe starting again in the body. Corpse of a Star does not simply fade. It collapses, glows, and returns on your skin.
