Cathedral Incense + Funereal Woods

“Paint Their Skies With Blood” was first created under the name “Crucifixion Wasn’t Enough.”

The name changed. The perfume did not.

They called Lithuania the last pagan country in Europe to accept Christianity. “Accept”, as though the cross arrived without soldiers, fire or steel. Our sacred forests were destroyed, our serpents dragged from beneath the hearth, and our gods were renamed demons.

Then they built churches from our forests, our blood and our genius. Nameless hands split beneath stone while generations disappeared beneath the shadow of God.

But no god built those churches.

People did.

“Paint Their Skies With Blood” opens with the cold air of an abandoned cathedral. Damp stone exhales beneath your feet while ancient incense crawls through the darkness. Melted candle wax runs over blackened wood, and sacred resins burn somewhere beyond sight.

As it settles, the incense becomes heavier. Wax becomes skin. Smoke becomes the only thing still moving. Myrrh, ash and old wood cling to the body like grief that refuses to leave politely.

It smells like entering a cathedral after God has already left: cold stone, extinguished candles and centuries of sorrow trapped permanently inside the walls.

It is the saddest fragrance we have ever made.

Necros does not enter this church to worship. It enters to reclaim what was taken.

They called our gods demons. This fragrance is our revenge.

Not every ghost will want to wear this one.
